It should come as no surprise that when I picture a bar in a bookstore, I don’t see coffee and pastries. In my mind, beer and books are a perfect match.

Call it what you want – a bucket list, New Brew Year’s Resolutions, my wish list for the world of beer – here are the beers I want to try, the beers I want to try again, the breweries I want to visit and some changes I wouldn’t mind seeing in brewers and beer fans.
There’s little doubt that, believer or no, a good number of RateBeerians will find themselves enjoying some holiday libations during the next few weeks. With these drinks already in hand, it makes sense to pair the brews with some of the books we’ll be reading for the holidays and the Christmas movies playing 24 hours a day.
